Erik De Clippel is Managing Partner of Degroof Petercam Investment Banking (Belgium) since May 2020. He joined Degroof Petercam in 2016 as Head of Syndication (ECM and DCM), after working 15 years at KBC Securities.
He was involved in more than 100 capital markets transactions and has one of the broadest deal track records in Belgium. As deal captain in numerous ECM transactions, Erik has built up an extensive experience in structuring transaction for success.
He holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a post-graduate in finance from the University of Leuven (KUL). Erik is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and board member of the Belgian CFA society and of the Flanders Future Techfund. As a laureate of the Prince Albert Fund Business in Asia program, Erik worked and lived in China for one year in combination with an MBA exchange program at CEIBS.
